About Us
Bailey’s Brigade is a family team dedicated to finding a
cure for juvenile diabetes. We are encouraged by the new ways to treat this
disease, however the insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring sensor are
not a cure. When Bailey was diagnosed at 10 months of age, his doctor said he
was sure a cure would become reality within ten years. We are hoping he was
right, and our optimism continues with this in mind. 
Our team goal is to raise $10,000 this year. Our fund
raising comes in the form of letters to friends and family asking for
contributions, and from our annual car show. As with all events of this type,
it takes start up funds to make a successful end result.
Suggestions from last
year’s participants (about 50 cars) included having more categories for
trophies, dash plaques, t-shirts and drawings. In the past, the family has paid
all of these costs, never taking a dime from the proceeds of the event.
